Welcome To My Studio!

I don't try to guess people want, I show them
what they didn't know they wanted

Creativity takes courage! My creative process is intuitive and born out of blissful ignorance. I have the freedom to create what doesn't exist and push the boundaries of what does.

My new, mixed media wallpaper designs reveal how joy and beauty can emerge from the collision of opposing visual worlds. Like graffiti-kissed vintage botanicals and xeroxed gardens.

Having access to a world of ideas that aren't bound by rules or technique opens the door for more magic to come dancing through!

Pleased To Meet You

I'm Meg Miller of Dart & Feather, an award winning Artist, Interior Designer and Energy Healing Practitioner based in Denver, CO

As an Artist and Interior Designer who designs energetically, my goal is to conjure up Atmospheric Alchemy - by designing a room that invites people in and creates a sense of wonderment. This raises the vibration of a space, as well as the people in it.

I take the expected and turn it inside out. And embrace the aesthetic of “beautiful chaos” by putting it into pattern form. These patterns are handmade collages with a wabi-sabi vibe. It's wallpaper with texture and dimension that's like mixed media art for the entire wall.

Infusing a room with intention and unexpected twists is what makes people feel ENTRANCED by a space.

That's not decoration; that's transformation!

Vision

Unique beauty can emerge from an unexpected fusion of ideas and objects. I photograph and collect random found elements and assemble them in fresh and unexpected ways. This is a way to show the world to itself - by intersecting things that don't belong together, until a beautiful new story emerges. Clashing old and new, gritty and delicate, and infusing joy into the ordinary. Reflecting back to people the world around them that they may encounter every day, but never truly “see”...

Introducing...

6 new, handmade, re-interpreted floral wallpaper patterns that elevate wallpaper to handmade, mixed media art for the entire wall.

Patterns below include: vintage botanicals kissed with graffiti; xeroxed flower arrangements; floral etchings on old tissue paper printed with persian rug motifs; and flowers constructed out of found ephemera and infused with bits of street art.

It's a CRAFT MEETS REBELLION manifesto!

“Floral Ephemera”

Handmade mixed media assemblage with vintage fabrics, mailer scraps, pieces of photographed graffiti, vintage wrapping paper and dried money tree leaves, on handmade paper with pressed flowers.
